Years of failed relationships had her considering seeking a sperm donor, but Mr Right finally came along and once Arcadia became Mrs Right her poetry suddenly took a less innocent turn. Shortly after her marriage, she launched her first collection of poems 'From the Heart of My Bottom'.

This was followed by the publication of the anthology 'Ha!' and the production of the CD 'Funny Poets Live'.

On New Year's Day 2001, Arcadia gave the world 'funnypoets.com', an evergrowing collection of funny poems from around the globe, presented with the sole aim of making folk chuckle. The site has since grown to become one of the foremost comic verse sites on the web.

A frequent performer at the Woodford Folk Festival, Arcadia has also been a guest at numerous festivals, poetry gigs and a multitude of business clubs and organisations across Australia.

Arcadia Flynn lives with her husband and daughter in Maleny, Queensland.
