After
careful consideration, I came up with the following questions
as being the ones
I'm most frequently asked. I hope they provide you with
what you want to know, but if
there's something I haven't covered or if there's something
you're busting
to find out, please feel free to e-mail me here.
I'll do my best to answer your query.
WHERE
CAN I BUY YOUR BOOKS AND CDs?
At the moment they're only available direct from me. Full
details are here.
CAN
I BOOK YOU TO APPEAR AT OUR FUNCTION/FESTIVAL?
Most
certainly. I'm available for anything from a simple Lancashire
Night through to
corporate functions. You can e-mail me here
for information, but to discuss your requirements it's
probably better to give me a call on 01257 411749. As of
January 2004 I have a fixed
minimum fee, but I'm probably more affordable than you think!

IS
THERE NEW MATERIAL IN THE PIPELINE?
Yes
there is. The new CD has been a long time coming, but watch this space...
WHY
BORIN' BUGGER BRENDA?
Brenda
just sort of 'happened' during a telephone call at work
one day. The poem was written,
changed, edited, changed again and completed within a couple
of days and I think Brenda has
been my biggest success to date. I like to think I've written
material that's far better, but
for some inexplicable reason, everyone seems to have chosen
'Borin' Brenda' as their favourite.
By the way, the poem's proper title is 'A Northern Bye-Bye
Blues' and it makes
an appearance in both 'A Sportin' Life'
and 'Rhythms and Rhymes'
You can also take a look at the Kind
Words page to see an illustration of Brenda.
DO
YOU HAVE A MAILING LIST?
Yes.
If you would like to know when the new stuff is available
or when Howling Dog has
a significant update, please e-mail me here
with your details. Don't worry, you won't
receive any of the dreaded spam by letting me have your
e-mail address.
Junk e-mail is the bane of my life - so your address won't
be passed on to anyone.
CAN
I HAVE A COPY OF THE ONE ABOUT.....?
Maybe.
I try not to disappoint anyone who asks for a copy of a
single poem or monologue.
However, it's not always practical to give stuff away when
it's also being offered for sale
as part of a printed collection or on a CD. There is some
freebie material available
on this website,
but if you're really desperate for something, e-mail me
here and I'll
see what I can do.
